When should I arrive for the Welcome Party/Wedding Day?
This can be found on the Event Details page

What is the Dress Code?
Dress Code for both Welcome Party & Wedding Day are included in the Event Details page. If you're unsure, here's a Pinterest board for inspiration for the Ceremony & Reception.

Where is the Welcome Party? Where is the Ceremony & Reception?
The Welcome Party will be held at Heuriger Wolff, and the Ceremony & Reception at Schloss Hetzendorf in Vienna

Is the Ceremony & Reception indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony will be held outdoors in the garden, so please wear shoes you'd feel comfortable walking on grass; there's an indoor option in case of inclement weather. The Reception will be indoors.

Will transportation be provided?
No, guests are encouraged to use public transportation or Uber/taxis to and from the Welcome Party and Reception.

Is there parking at the venue?
Parking is very limited at the venue, so we encourage guests to rely on public transportation or Uber/taxi

When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP using the password included in your invite by March 31st, 2026. If you've misplaced your invite or password, please email krischmcclure@gmail.com. If your RSVP is not received, we will assume you won't be in attendance.

Can I bring my children?
While we love your little ones, our Ceremony and Reception at Schloss Hetzendorf will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you'll enjoy a well-deserved night off to relax and celebrate with us. For our local guests, you're welcome to bring your kids along to the Welcome Party at Heuriger Wolff, though, so they can join in on the fun of the weekend.

Travel
What is the nearest airport?
For our international guests, we suggest arriving through the Vienna airport. There is public transportation available into the city center, or Uber/taxi for those with large suitcases. We're recommending guests to stay in the Karlsplatz area, which is 25-40 mins away from VIE airport by car/public transportation.

What's the nearest train station?
The venue is located at the Schloss Hetzendorf tram stop, accessible via the Karlsplatz station in central Vienna. We've recommended hotels in the Karlsplatz area for those who wish to take public transit to the venue.

Do I need a visa to travel?
This will vary based on your citizenship. For our American guests - there's currently no visa requirement for Americans traveling to the EU, but this will change in late 2026. We encourage you to review visa requirements before booking travel.

Are there recommended hotels?
We've recommended a variety of hotels in a few price ranges in the Karlsplatz area for those who wish to take public transit to the venue. However - central Vienna is very walkable and you're welcome to stay where you'd like (we'd never dictate your vacation!). Room blocs aren't common in Vienna, so we don't have any particular discounts to share.

What's the weather like at that time of year?
Late August can be unpredictable in Vienna as it marks the transition from summer to fall. We recommend checking the weather before you travel to ensure you've packed appropriately.

Gifts and Registry
Where can I find your registry?
Gifts are not at all expected or required - we just can't wait to see you! Should you like to provide a gift, though, our registry and bank details are included in the Registry section

Can I bring physical gifts?
Just like many of our guests, we'll be traveling for our wedding as well! For this reason, we ask for no physical gifts on the day.

Food, Drinks, and Festivities
Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
In your RSVP, please indicate any dietary requirements so we can make our best effort to accommodate

Is there an open bar?
Yes, selection of wine, beer, and cocktails will be available for guests :)
